Yesterday I moved the website and all other services from one of my test servers at home to a brand new VPS hosted at Pcextreme. As some of you know my previous experience with VPS providers has not been a good one so I was cautious at first about renting a VPS ever again.
After some emailing back and forth between the Pcextreme sales department and me they offered me to try out one of their VPS packages for free for 30 days, the only thing they wanted me do was let them know how I thought about their VPS platform.
I decided to accept the offer, signed up at their website and ordered one of their VPS packages. I got an email in reasonable time that my account and VPS package where ready and upon checking my billing status I saw that they gave me the first month at no cost as promised.
As previously mentioned I have not been Lucky choosing a VPS host in the past both regarding the support department and the platform my VPS was hosted on. I was quite surprised about the fact that Pcextreme’s sales people where so open and accessible, I really felt that they care about their customers and have trust in the products they offer.
Al in all my first impression was a very positive one. The support is what you can expect from a decent ISP and so far the server I am hosted on seems to be very responsive. I still have 3 weeks left to test the platform out though so stay tuned for a review in a week or 2.
